DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that the Department has partnered with the American Red Cross and their “Smoke Detector Outreach Program”. This potential life-saving program provides free smoke detectors and free installation to identified areas in our first due.\n\n\n \n\n\nOn April 23\, 2017 starting at 1200\, members of Deale VFD and personnel from Red Cross will be conducting a walk through of the Deale Beach Community. The day before residents of the community should expect pamphlets handed out from the Red Cross explaining more information about the program. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe have already discussed conducting additional visits to other communities at later dates; working towards a goal of having a working smoke detector in every home in our first due. \n\n\n \n\n\nIf you are in need of a smoke detector you may always contact the station at 410-222-8242 to schedule an installation.
