On Saturday; 07/26/08 at 1702 hrs. Engine 422 was alerted for a commercial building fire at the Annapolis Fish Farm on Bay Front Rd in the 42-17 box.  E422 arrived on location with smoke showing and a small fire reported in an upper level area at one end of the building.  Upon investigation, the crew from E422 found a small fire with extension into the walls. Fire was under control and out at 1716 hrs.  Tk42 & Sq1 assisted in ventilation and lighting.  E421 and PM9 also assisted on the scene.  Call was cleared by 1835 hrs. On Wednesday; 07/02/08 at 2232 hrs. Engine 423 was alerted for a dwelling fire in the 500-Blk of Deale Rd in the 42-17 box.  E423 arrived on location with heavy fire coming from side alpha on the second floor. Medic 42 and Truck 42 arrived just after E423 and assisted with the initial fire attack.  E421 arrived and set-up draft at the county pier.  Fire was under control at 2313 hrs.  Units responded from AA, PG and Calvert counties.  Most units were in-service by 0140 hrs. On Friday; 03/22/2008 – Truck 42 and Medic 42 responded to an MVC with entrapment on Route 2 prior to Jewell Road. Engine 91 arrived on scene first and found a single vehicle overturned in the woods with one trapped. Tk42 arrived just after and began the extrication of the patient with assistance from E91 and PM9. The patient was removed from the vehicle and Tk crew assisted PM9 with packaging and loading the patient. PM9 transported to Tracy’s Elementary; MSP Trooper flew patient to a nearby trauma center.  AAPD remained on scene and all units cleared. Vol. Crew: Tk42 – FF P. Loiacono, FF E. Lumpkin, FF S. Tk42 arrived shortly after and assisted units on scene. Fire was reported under control at 1629 hrs. Engine 422 was alerted for a dwelling fire in the 1000-Blk South Creek View in the 41-04 box.  E411 arrived on location with nothing evident. Upon investigation, E411 found an area in the dwelling with fire damage and smoke inside. Tk42 arrived on scene and was ventilation group. E422 arrived and assisted with fire ground operations. Truck 42 arrived shortly after and assisted on scene throwing a ladder and ventilation. Fire was under control at 1317 hrs. E422 arrived and assisted with fire ground operations, while Tk42 and E421 arrived shortly after and assisted on scene as well as with overhaul. Fire was under control at 1312 hrs. On 12/08/07 at 0133 hrs. Truck 42 & Engine 422 responded to the 4700 block of Muddy Creek Rd to the Highs Dairy Store for a possible fire near an exterior propane tank.  First arriving units found fire showing from the building.  Tk42 assumed RIT and setup ventilation & E422 operated as tanker shuttle and suppression.  After defensive operations were established, Tk42 setup the ladder pipe and assisted with suppression.  Second alarm was struck at 0140 hrs.  Once fire was under control at 0324 hrs., Tk42’s crew assisted in overhaul and provided lighting & assistance to FIB.  E422 cleared at 0535 hrs and Tk42 cleared the scene at 0929 hrs. On Wednesday; 11/21/07 – Truck 42 responded along with Medic 42 to a reported overturned truck on Rt 256 just before Rt 2.  Tk42 arrived on location and found an dually truck that struck a utility pole and was overturned off the roadway.  There was one occupant of the truck that self extricated himself prior to our arrival.  Medic 42 treated and transported to AAMC.
