On Saturday; 07/26/08 at 1702 hrs. Engine 422 was alerted for a commercial building fire at the Annapolis Fish Farm on Bay Front Rd in the 42-17 box. E422 arrived on location with smoke showing and a small fire reported in an upper level area at one end of the building. Upon investigation, the crew from E422 found a small fire with extension into the walls. Fire was under control and out at 1716 hrs. Tk42 & Sq1 assisted in ventilation and lighting. On Friday; 03/22/2008 – Truck 42 and Medic 42 responded to an MVC with entrapment on Route 2 prior to Jewell Road. Engine 91 arrived on scene first and found a single vehicle overturned in the woods with one trapped. Tk42 arrived just after and began the extrication of the patient with assistance from E91 and PM9. The patient was removed from the vehicle and Tk crew assisted PM9 with packaging and loading the patient. PM9 transported to Tracy’s Elementary; MSP Trooper flew patient to a nearby trauma center. On 12/08/07 at 0133 hrs. Truck 42 & Engine 422 responded to the 4700 block of Muddy Creek Rd to the Highs Dairy Store for a possible fire near an exterior propane tank. First arriving units found fire showing from the building. Tk42 assumed RIT and setup ventilation & E422 operated as tanker shuttle and suppression. After defensive operations were established, Tk42 setup the ladder pipe and assisted with suppression. Second alarm was struck at 0140 hrs. Once fire was under control at 0324 hrs., Tk42’s crew assisted in overhaul and provided lighting & assistance to FIB. E422 cleared at 0535 hrs and Tk42 cleared the scene at 0929 hrs. On Wednesday; 11/21/07 – Truck 42 responded along with Medic 42 to a reported overturned truck on Rt 256 just before Rt 2. Tk42 arrived on location and found an dually truck that struck a utility pole and was overturned off the roadway.
